I'm in my forties, have played guitar for years and (through kids and work commitments) have not been in a band for years. I'd like to join a band playing classic rock, some modern rock, blues etc. I'm up for just jamming or doing it more seriously, and don't mind whether I play rhythm, lead or whatever - i'll fit in. I just want to play the guitar with other people again. I can travel (I live in Stafford) and hopefully somebody will contact me to try me out or for a jam.

Clapton, Hendrix, Zeppelin, Free, Pink Floyd, Thin Lizzy, Gary Moore, Slash, Who, Kinks, AC/DC, Whitesnake, Stones, Beatles, Bryan Adams, Chuck Berry, Quo, Peter Green, Dire Straits, Doors, Queen, ZZ Top, Santana & Django Reinhardt are the sort of things I tend to play: not everything by those people but what has caught my ear. I can learn whatever is needed or what people want to play.
