Paul attended Goldsmith College studying Bass Musicianship with Lawrence Canty (B.Mus.), and has been teaching Privately for over 10 years.

For the past 7 years Paul has been part of both the visiting faculty and Bass Dept of The London Music school (Formerly M.I. London), Where his classes ranged from, Harmony + Theory, Playing Techniques, Fingerboard Harmony, Transcription to Jazz clinics with Drummer Ed Thigpen + Jazz/Rock/Funk rhythm Section and Work Shops. He has also taught rhythm section/charts workshops at Lewisham Academy of Music, and has been involved in productions for the renowned arts and drama department at Hurtwood House School in Surrey. Paul is currently teaching HND & Btech courses @ The Academy of Contemporary Music In Guildford & West Herts College, and has become bass tutor in residence at The International Guitar Festival. The Festivals previous Tutors have included Tribal Tech, s (Gary Willis) to name a few.
Paul has also recently concluded a series of ‘” School Rock concerts “ For Berkshire Young Musicians Trust
