Experienced bass player with vocals available for deps or a permanent band.
I am looking for a working covers band (functions / clubs) or would consider forming a new one provided it is a small enough line-up to be commercially viable,

Very experienced mainly as a bass player, have done a wide range of stuff over the years, soul, rock, blues, sixties, seventies, function-work, pubs, cliubs, holiday camps, shows etc. I am used to working at least once a week and am equally happy on guitar or bass. Can harmonise well, and can do a limited bit of lead vocals but the range is limited these days. Very keen and reliable. Keyboard playing has a long way to go but useful Rhodes / Hammond chords and licks for a blues or soul set-up.
I have done many deps over the years and can fit in well.

Influences
Especially Stax-ish sounds, Booker T, Otis Redding, Sam & Dave but loads of influences such as Beatles and most sixties bands, through all the classic rock bands from the seventies onwards. I particularly like bluesy / souly stuff but happy to play anything good.
Although a Stax tribute would be my dream band I have done this long enough to know that cheesey pays so no problems with that.
