ABOUT

Established Progressive Rock band seeking Lead/Rhythm Guitar for recording and festival gigs.
Established, upcoming progressive rock band Fluctus Quadratum are looking for a lead/rhythm guitarist to join us for the long term.
We have record company backing and are recording the first full album now.
This year we have played Fusion Prog Festival and Nene Valley Rock Festival - Festival gigs are booked for next year including HRH Prog.
We rehearse twice a month near Heathfield, East Sussex and each work on material in-between rehearsals at home.
We don't want to play pubs and clubs every week, just a few choice festival gigs each year.
We are looking for someone who plays to a good standard, has good equipment and transport and is at ease with recording and playing on bigger stages.
The way we write material is a bit different from the norm: we are a synth led band and our keys player writes all the music, including guitar parts and this has worked very well for us so far, however, once the vocals are down for each track, we welcome ideas for amendments if they will improve the track and/or make it easier to play live as some guitar parts are technically very demanding.
We always play to a click using in-ear monitors to ensure that all the timing changes, stops and starts are precise every time. We have our own independent monitoring system so you can set your own mix.
