As I'm a member on here I've been asked to find a new guitarist for my mate's London-based band - Spies. They need a new rhythm guitarist.

Management sorted, producer interest (Steve Brown and the guy who produced the new Rakes album), recently won covent Garden Battle of the Bands (£1000 - to be spent on a van), beginning to hit venues outside of London (Leeds, Southampton, Cardiff, Sheffield) plus awaiting date for Camden Barfly. Main support for the Bluetones singer at Turnmills next month. They have a strong booking team behind them (Glasswerk UK) and are ready to commit to an obscene amount of gigs and plugging themselves (including a video and single). The one stumbling block is that the management and the band aren't too keen on the current rhythm guitarist (musically and personally!) and so they're holding back on launching into it fully until a replacement is found.
