Novice guitarist, been playing for 3 years. Not played live as yet, seem to be able to pick up any music pretty quickly now so confident in ability to learn new material fast / have a good influence in jams etc.

I believe my strongest point is in vocals, love singing almost anything but most enjoy rock'n'roll (johnny b goode by marty and the starlighters kinda sound ;o), just seventeen, boney maroney, couple of chuck berrys etc. have strong influence from dad so like quite alot of old stuff. Just starting to appreciate a wider range of material like the doors, wishbone ash, thin lizzy even Metallica. At the beginning of my learning curve if u like i was influenced a bit by stereophonics, travis, coldplay (indie/rock sound) do seem to be leaning away from them but still in me!

Looking for any chance to join in with like minded musicians just looking for any opportunity to be creative/jam be inspired, maybe even perform. Have had experience in a band as lead vocalist - we had an indie/rock sound goin on, some people said we sounded a bit like the doors/led zep, the doves but thats all in the past!! The rest of the guys were quite a bit older than me, had no problem interacting with them but they seemed to be quite set in their ways and didnt seem to give me much room to be creative so that fizzled out after 6 months and a couple of gigs.

Cant wait to hear from anyone who thinks we might get on, together create somethin new or simply have fun learning from each other and doin our thing!!
