ABOUT

Hi we are Everlate and we are looking for a new lead guitarist after recently losing our last one.
We are well established in York and the surrounding areas avidly gigging and busking our own music.
We would describe our sound as something between the script, the fray, coldplay, Mumford and sons, embrace etc. We are all influenced by these bands.
A big part of the band are harmonies. Before we parted ways with our last guitarist we had 4 part harmonies in every song so it's essential the the right person is comfortable singing while playing. We feel it's our biggest asset as a band and we always get complimented for it.
We are looking for someone who would bring their own unique style and sound in to the band and someone that isn't afraid to contribute to the writing process as we all have an input.
We are a very hard working band. We all work full time but the band stays at the top of our priorities and we would be looking for someone able to put the same amount of commitment in as we do. We are constantly coming up with ideas for new songs , gigging promoting the band and busking on the streets of York(must be available on weekends for busking). This is something we are all working towards for a full time career so who ever we take on board needs to have the same mind set as us to take it as far as it possibly can. The reason we lost our last guitarist was because he was unwilling to put in the effort required to make it a big success.
We feel this is a great oppertunity for the right person having just had some of our tracks played on hollyoaks and getting on to some festivals this year and also having record label and managment interest.
We are all in our mid 20's so we are looking for someone around the same age.
We practice every week in York usually a tuesday.
