but also
Loads of post-punk ie Birthday Party, Gun Club, but also johnny thunders/richard hell, Iggy Pop's solo stuff,
60's coolness as seen on compilations like nuggets, pebbles, etc.
metal before it had a name, like early sabbath, Zeppelin, MC5 and so forth.

I don't expect one band to reflect all of these influences, that'd be silly.

1960's Commodore Gibson 335 Copy in Sunburst with sh*t (original) pick ups

Dodgy Japanese/Korean Les Paul copy in black

30 watt Fender amp with digital bollocks for reverb and or rockabilly delay

Unbranded bass guitar in sunburst. Looks good plays fine probably sounds as cheap as it was.

New bass and/or guitar amp to be purchased on recieving student loan.
