I know 4 open chords, can pick out root notes on the bass and can do a basic 4/4 walking pattern on a kit. Therefore I developed my voice as my main instrument! I’ve been doing acoustic covers of 60s and 70s numbers (plus a few more recent songs) at open mic nights with my Dad and I feel as though my voice has come on leaps and bounds over the last year or so.
