Disney's Head + Band in Plymouth, EN

ABOUT

We are a new band based around South Hams/Plymouth area looking for members to complete the line up. The music can be defined as a mix of guitar based indie, alt rock and dance oriented left-field pop (Smiths, Cardigans, Hard-fi, XTC, Metronomy, Basement Jaxx etc).

We are putting together a high energy band that does quirky left-field ideas.

Currently consists of two members on Bass and Guitar Vocals respectively (both filling in for other parts on the demos)

We are looking for the following:-

- A drummer:-
Someone who can play completely tight with energy and power above all other considerations - though being an all-round musician would be a bonus.

- A lead/rhythm guitarist in the same stylistic areas as the following:- Ross Phillips(Hard Fi), Peter Svensson (Cardigans), Johnny Marr, Mick Ronson, Keith Richards, Tony Iommi, Joey Santiago, Hugh Cornwell

In other words powerful, melodic, rhythmic and unusual…sorry but please no standard pub rock - or metallers

- Keyboardist/electronica specialist.(Someone like Dave Greenfield or Brian Auger would be the ideal person).

We have produced a three song demo; the drumming is provided by sample loops but gives some indication of the general style.

This is a serious project and we intend to become a touring band with national/international appeal - so we are looking for people with similar ambition - as such must be over 18 and without ties that would be an impediment - no upper age limit (within reason).
