DIAGO are searching for the right person to join our band as soon as possible, as we have material for summer shows and studio bookings. Unfortunately our drummer has just had to part with us due to a change in their personal life, therefore we're keen to maintain momentum and appease our industry contacts. We have experience playing nationwide, alongside established artists and are highly ambitious musicians, so we are looking for a solid player to be a pivotal member of our group.
Experience of gigging, writing and recording, strong vocals and your own mode of transport are preferred, but not essential - we're after competent players, but also positive and enthusiastic characters! With regular (local) shows planned and weekly rehearsals (in either Newcastle-upon-Tyne or Sunderland) this position would ideally suit somebody with very few other commitments.
We play powerful guitar-driven, 80's-tinged indie/pop/rock; think Kings of Leon meets The Police. Sorry I don't have anything more polished, but we're going through a re-brand so music/socials are bare!
