I am putting together a studio project with the aim to play really satisfying music. Bored with playing standard pub tunes, the aim is to put together a set of more complicated epic tunes really for our own satisfaction of just totally nailing them and getting the buzz of working hard, pushing yourself improving your skills and sounding absolutely killer.
Porcupine tree, tool, deftones, perfect circle are the kind of tunes we are looking at though many other bands have been thrown around, sisters of mercy, depeche mode, anything with a huge sound and huge payoff.
I am guitarist, we have a drummer and are in the process of recruiting an awesome bass player but we need a like minded keyboard player for the big sound and dynamics we are looking for.

By the way we are all in our mid to late thirty's (not that that matters) have all had extensive gigging experience and are all highly committed to making this the best band. Probably looking to rehearse 3-4 times a month due to work (sucks).
