I've being playing for 55 years Classically trained on bass trombone. Played in many genres of music, mainly Soul, Jazz, Blues, Funk, Fusion, Disco and Prog. Rock and Classical. I play 4 and 5, string Bass as well as fretless. Having been fully professional, l've done pit orchestra work, studio sessions and countless live gigs. I'm passionately committed to playing and my love of music in general is second to none. I have loads of really professional gear and transport, so distance is not a problem. Also, l play Bass Trombone to a similar professional standard and have played in most of the prerequisite ensembles that require a bass trombone and obviously Bass Guitar...

Influences
Many amazing Bassists from the Jazz Fusion genre, too many to mention. Disco and Soul together with funk and Blues and also Prog. Rock. This list could be ridiculously long, so I haven't mentioned any names. Although listening to sublime bassists in their genres, l don't feel any urge to play the rather non-commercial material as the public in general aren't at all interested in hearing it. I love melody and the two-way interaction one gets when gigging to a really appreciative audience. There's nothing quite like getting the punters up dancing if that's the music you're playing...
If l had to mention just 3 of my all-time favourite bassists, they are Chris Squire, Jeff Berlin and Abraham Laboriel. Chris playing in 'YES' was the guy being so amazing, who made me realise that l just had to play bass. I'd already been playing brass for 7 years prior...

3 Roscoe hand-built Basses (4 and 5 string), 4x Sire Marcus Miller (4 and 5 string) Basses, Yamaha 4 string, Sandberg California 4 string. and a Stephen Hart Custom hand made 4 string. fretless Tobias. I have just recently bought a Sadowsky Will Lee Signature Custom in the beginning of January 2024. I own Bergantino amplification and Bergantino cabinets, plus an EBS Magni Combo. Several effects pedals on a pedal board.
