I first received an electric guitar for Christmas, when I was around 12 years Old..by the end of boxing day I had all ready taught myself a few basic chords, and had written my first song.......
The rest is history as they say....
I joined my first band around the age of 13, with a few mates from school. We wrote a bunch of songs, and performed most weekends in the local area, as no one else had the guts to do vocals, I stepped up!! Becoming a front man, a very shy one at best....
Time passes, I left school and joined collage, ( Cambridge c r c, studying a foundation in contemporary in popular musics ) this mostly resulted in getting stoned and jamming with fellow students, one of which was, Jamie Morrison.. of the nosiesttes, stereophonics, and now 86 tvs fame.but I digress.
After gigging and jamming with many musicians for many years, the dream came to an abrupt end, with the divorce of my parents and, as a family unit we all went our separate ways.. it was maybe 5 years before I found new musicians to jam with..
A band was quickly formed, and we went on to tour most of the country with constant weekend gigs for 5 years plus.... thus here I am now, with an almost 10 year hiatus, I'm desperately yarning to play with other musicians again...
