Started playing in bands in the mid seventies. I have played styles of music ranging from the melodic end of punk to post punk to singer songwriter to pop rock to jangly rock.
For a while in the 70s/80s played in a band influenced by of The Byrds/Orange Juice/Josef K/Jangly Rock which obviously led to enjoying The Smiths and other melodic rock bands.
Then came a focus on work and tried to keep up with playing and in the late 90s played in a melodic rock band.
More recently infrequently play/jam with friends but would like something a little more regular.

Influences
If it sounds good then I'll listen to it!
Listen to lots of different styles of music. I now tend to listen to music that has a Funk/Jazz/Acid Jazz(JTQ) influence. I have never played this type of music but would be willing to give it a try.
