Dave has been playing guitar for about 8 years, after having a musical childhood beginning with piano at the age of 5, and experimenting with a variety of musical instruments including trumpet, drums and most recently saxophone all culminating in a unique and diverse style. With a repertoire ranging from Jazz, Blues, Rock and even Classical, Dave has taken influence from such artists as Eric Clapton, Miles Davis, Buddy Rich, Slash and the late Eric Roche. As an ex-student of the Academy of Contemporary Music, Dave has had the amazing experience of playing on stage with the likes of Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Ace and Mark Richardson (Skunk Anansie), Carleen Anderson (Brand New Heavies) and Pete Friesen (Alice Cooper, The Almighty). Given these incredible opportunities, Dave is an accomplished studio musician and live performer.
