My name is Darren Whittle I am the Piano/Keyboard player and co - founder of the Hangovers.
I started learning the piano at the age of 21, I studied at the ''technics music academy'' for four years and acquired my grade 1,2,3 and 4 Piano. I moved to Manchester from Liverpool and joined my first band called ''Tripwire''. I was with them for eight years writing recording and performing original material on the Manchester music circuit. We performed at venues including, the ''Night day café, Band on the wall, the Ritz, the Boardwalk'' and the world famous ''Cavern'' in Liverpool. We changed our name to ''oneandazero'' after five years due to band line - up changes.
After the band disbanded I moved back to Liverpool and completed my grade five piano. After completing my grade, I joined a cover's band in Liverpool called the ''Order'' playing cover's ranging from, the Beatles to Coldplay playing on the pub circuit in and around the city for 2 years. I then moved back to Manchester and got introduced to Darren Clinton by a good friend Glenn Taylor, who was looking for a keyboard player to play at a wedding. I then started to rehearse with the band preparing for a gig and from then on we formed the Hangovers.
We have been playing various venue's and functions across the Northwest to the present day.
