Hi there,

I'm a multi-instrumentalist, arranger and composer.

I've worked as a session musician and sound engineer.

I've played in many different bands up and down the country, covering numerous styles, mainly on bass.

I now do solo work and currently recording 3 albums, which I'm hoping to take out on the road on a Pubs and Clubs tour at some point. One is a mixed bag of styles and genres, one is a straight forward rock album and the last features all my early material.

Influences:

Influences are hard to pin down as I listen to anything and everything.

Equipment List:

One Red Special replica, based on Brian May's, played through a Vox AC30 with my pedalboard which has a Boss Equaliser, an Ibanez Tubescreamer, a Marshall Chorus, a Boss Acoustic Simulator (live use only), a Boss Digital Delay and a Boss Compression/Sustainer.

One 5-string bass, based on my own design and specs, played through an SWR Super Redhead with an SWR Interstellar Overdrive pre-amp and an SWR Goliath III (4 ohm) extention speaker, tuned unusually E-A-D-G-C.

Both guitars were made by Hugh Manson, of Manson Guitars.

I also use steel and nylon strung acoustics, an 8-string mandolin, a Yamaha DJX keyboard and a Rogue 8-string bass, as well as a newly acquired electro-acoustic guitar.
