We have an open mic night on alternate Saturdays with the next on being 3rd March 2012. Our hosts are two very accomplished acoustic guitarists and vocalists. They play bass, rhythem and lead guitar. We are desperately looking for singers, keyboard players, pianists, violinists, sax, clarinet, trombonists, oboe, accordian players. Banjo, electric drums, penny whistle, flute, in fact anyone who would like to turn up and jam.
On alternate Saturdays to the open mic we have duo's, acoustic singers, rock cover bands etc and are always looking to book new talent that we haven't seen. Come and showcase your musical ability at the open mic and it may lead to a gig of your own.
We also have a Jazz Club starting from the pub from Wednesday 7th March with Mike Yorke and friends. Come and have a look and maybe join in. This will be once a fortnight to begin with.
We are also looking to launch an Celtic night very soon so if you could help get this off the ground please get in touch.
Our pub is a traditional small country village one with open fires and up to five real ales. These include Wye Valley Butty Back and HPA, Enville Ales, Holdens and Timothy Taylors.
