Are you sick of hearing blues bands playing endless covers of .... 'the stumble', 'need your love so bad' (the list is endless) do you think that blues is more about evil, voodoo, crawling king snakes and scary stuff than tedious clapton/SRV guitar histrionics? Then please help me form a blues band with a difference, I dont care about your gender, your age or anything else, as long as you can play ,have a sense of the bizarre/theatrical and love a melting pot of influences that might include:
Leadbelly, Son House, Tom Waits, Odetta, Howlin' wolf, Otis Rush, Guitar Slim, Little Axe and even Diamanda Galas and (in her bluesiest moments) PJ Harvey
Then please contact me, guitarists, bass players, drummers, female guitarists/vocalists would be great or if you just want to bang two tin cans together and whoop n' holler thats okay too
DONT WANT TO BE FAMOUS ITS TOO LATE FOR THAT..... JUST WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
