Welcome to my profile page. I’m giving this another go as of summer 2022 with an upgrade to a premier account so that I can make contact with people on here.

I’m hoping for more success finding suitable collaborations this time around.

I’m an electronic producer looking to collaborate with a female vocalist. This would be a recording project only, as I’ve no plans to perform live. The intention would be to release the tracks on independent labels.

This would be a bit of a side project for me, as I already produce and release dubby ambient hypnotic techno and electronica. (Search for Kinkdroid on Soundcloud/Spotify/Beatport etc)

I’ve been making music since my teens, but in the last 3 or 4 years really recognised that it is a passion that lights me up and I’m looking for someone equally passionate and commited to letting the word hear what they create.

I have all the equipment required to produce professional sounding tracks. You would need a mic and a means to record. If you have a computer and audio interface ideal, although at a push you can get pretty usable results from a mobile phone with a bit of practice.

You don’t even need to be local to me, as we can run the sessions via Sessionwire or Zoom. I already collaborate this way with other musicians throughout the UK, US and Europe.

I’d be looking for you to provide the lyrics.

I would would be open to producing/engineering your material if you have ideas ready to go but lack the skills/equipment to make it happen.

I’ve linked a few example tracks, but I’m pretty open on direction, and dependant on the style of vocals you bring.

Influences

Very varied, and I always find lists of influences don't give a clear picture of the resulting direction after they've all been put in the melting pot.

I mostly listen to dub/ambient/hypnotic techno, and various forms of electronica.

Influenced by 90's electronica, The Orb, St Ettiene, Massive Attack, Cocteau Twins, London Grammar, Sinead O'Connor, Björk, Everything but the Girl, Talking Heads, Human League, Depeche Mode, Yazoo, Miss Kittin, Dub Syndicate, Dead Can Dance, Portishead, Mad Professor, etc etc

That barely scratches the surface, and the direction somewhat depends on your voice too. Feel free to steer the ship your way too.
