We are a new band located in and around the Hampshire/Surrey/Berkshire borders. We have a full setup with singer, lead and rhythm guitars and bass – but need now to find a likeminded drummer.

Our intent is to get going as a classic rock with funk and blues influences covers band in the new year and our goal is to gig locally 2-3 times per month, mainly for fun and the enjoyment of gigging – but we want to be good !

We have contacts to use from previous experience to get gigs lined up and we are confident that the opportunities are there. Our plan is to record a demo CD in the near future and have the arrangements in place to get it completed.

We have compiled and rehearsed a provisional set-list and have achieved a solid and exciting sound – but we need a drummer to help us round it out and to bring their opinion and experience to agree the final set-list.

Our approach is simply to play music people like to hear and we like to play. We rehearse once a week and all enjoy getting together and spending time trying out new songs. We are an easy going group – the 4 of us got together in one go as strangers and hit it off straight away – primarily because we all have a desire to play the music, are flexible in our approach and choice of material and are confident of our ability.

If you are a solid drummer, you would like to get back into gigging, whether limited experience or you have had a break from it – but are looking for it to be enjoyable and have a good time belting out music that is fun all around then please let us know. This is a great opportunity to get involved at a very early stage and influence the content, but at the same time have confidence that you are coming into a group that has direction and has a good catalogue of rehearsed material so you can get going quickly.

Influences:

Our main influences for the band include: Rolling Stones, The Who, Bad Company, Led Zeppelin, RHCP, Oasis, Green Day, Bowie and a wide selection of other crowd pleasers!

As a group our tastes range from straight out classic rock to funk and blues. Our goal is build up a catalogue of material that allows us to span these genres – but the main test is always “is this the type of music you would want to listen to at the pub?”
