ABOUT

I'm looking to put together a new band playing 90% original material.
The only covers we'll be doing are those that we like or plan on releasing.
I've released about 9 songs and counting.
2 of which were Bowie covers, so y'know...

I've got the itch again to start performing again even if it's just for the fun of it.

Looking for Drums, Bass, Rhythm/L. Guitarist, Keyboards.
Commitment is more important than experience. I know how to direct the show and have plenty of experience in putting it all together. That's not my ego talking btw.
I sing, play lead, rhythm, piano/keyboards and write plenty of material.
I don't stay in 1 genre so if you like rock guitar, a bit of funky chicken grease, piano stuff too, maybe even a bit of rap and jazz or whatever- look no further.
It just has to be outstanding.
I'm old skool- so the show must be awesome!!!

My style is probably an eclectic mixture of pop with a bit of a rock edge, but I can rap and croon as well. I also have a 5-octave range, which in plain English means I can sing hi notes and low and bassy ones too as well as all the one's in between.

Once we get started I'll probably be looking to rehearse at Prospect Studios, Allerton, Bradford possibly Sun afternoons initially.

Influences

I’ve always liked great live performers-
I like all the classics performers old and new especially if they that can do it live.
But I’m quite happy that the likes of Kate Bush, Sia and Ed Sheeran are doing well because it shows the industry that you don’t have to be 17, tanned and in a manufactured band to sell records.

I’m not a fan of the overused vocoders and auto-tune stuff that’s out now.
A lot of it sounds like it belongs on Sonic The Hedgehog or Alvin & The Chipmunks.
