Working with industry legends and innovative, upcoming artists including Mika, Bryan Ferry and Paloma Faith, she has played the world’s best music festivals and appeared on major American, UK and European TV shows. From Coachella and Glastonbury to the Isle of Wight, South by Southwest, Fuji Rock, Exit, Pukkelpop and Roskilde, she dazzles with versatility and verve. Cherisse Osei’s visual flamboyance and rock solid technique have made her one of the most in-demand drummers in the UK.
In recognition of her talent, Cherisse was invited to play at the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games Closing Ceremony where she performed a specially commissioned piece by composer Philip Sheppard in the National Stadium before an audience of 1.5 billion TV viewers.
