I am a folk musician, occasionally a punk or rock musician, but I was born into a folk family, I learned half my set from my dad, Ive just been sacked by my last band, The Smirkins, until recently known as the smirkin merkins folk reggae dub dance band www.myspace.com/thesmirkins
I am looking for any interesting project to become part of
I also run The Sunday Session, a folk/ acoustic open mike for all genres of music at the Jamesons pub , station road, Gloucester, 2pm till 5pm

Influences:

world and folk dance tunes, african and reggae rythymns
old school punk, rock, (I like metal but dont know the bands) I also like that balkan gypsey blend, I was previosly in Nomad, a glastonbury based gypsy folk band, the avalonian free state choir, which sang in slavic languages! I am also part of a studio band with a guy from somerset called the Bard of Yugoth, we are Yogurt Thrash!!
I also used to run the near legendary full moon folk club in the Glastonbury Assembly rooms, which used to re convene all night long in the tower of glastonbury tor on a good few occasions!!(www.myspace.com/yogurtthrash)
I love playing music around the fires at festivals and gatherings!!!

Equipment List:

a small 100watt pa plus an 8 channel desk, back line, drum kit bass, mandolin, acoustic and electric guitars, mikes and stands, a small old fashioned tascam 4 track recording studio plus fruityloops on my pc
