'CHARLYN' is a pop/rock/electronic project primarily functioning in London but also with interests in Switzerland. We are currently looking for either a drummer or guitarist of a very high standard for live performances. We released our first EP recorded in our own studio space last year (2016) and are releasing our 2nd EP later in 2017.

We are currently gigging once a month in London and are due to play at various festivals in the UK over the summer. We also have gigs and festivals lined up in Switzerland so you must be able to travel, expenses will be covered.
Drummers must have/be:
Consistent, powerful players with high stamina and the ability to play fast and intricate parts as well as hold a solid groove.
Excellent timing with the ability to play along to click and backing tracks using our Roland SPD-SX.
Able to keep the band together and driving forward as one with high energy.
Guitarists must have/be:
Comfortable with playing in different tunings and capo positions.
Able to play a delay pedal in the style of The Edge from U2; guitar parts are very effects driven.
Have high standards of tuning, precision and consistency while playing.

EQUIPMENT
We have a Roland SPD-SX for our backing tracks and electronic drum samples as well as acoustic drum equipment.
We have a guitar pedal board with the necessary effects needed for the songs.
