ABOUT

Looking to start a band with a 60's/blues/jazz/rock n' roll/shuffle kind of sound. The type of instruments in the band could really be anything, but I have envisaged the key ones being drums, guitar, bass, keys, lead/backing vocals and tambourine. Additions such as saxophone, trombone would be incredible.

Main influences include: BRMC, The Rolling Stones, Jack white, The Beatles, The Pixies, Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Doors, The Hollies, Velvet Underground etc.

I myself am 23, moved to Sheffield over a year ago and am keen to collaborate rather than write solo stuff! I sing and play guitar with harmonica and can also play bass.

In the band I am happy to be playing or singing, I just want to make good music! The main criteria for members is that I would like to be able to jam with people who are confident and not afraid to put forward ideas.

I live in Sheffield (S11) and have my own recording set up and a large room available which could easily accommodate a starting band. I have a lot of material to start with until we start creating music together.
