Hello, I am a bass player with no gig experience (though would be interested in doing gigs). I taught myself to play bass so I have no understanding of music theory or notes. I play by ear. I love metal and rock music, have listened to this music since I was 15. Favourite bands include gojira, slipknot, Metallica, slayer, Radiohead, pink floyd.

Influences
I’mdefinitely more of a riff player as supposed to a soloist (though bassists are more supportive so I guess this works well). I can improvise and I often find myself creating bass lines from experimentation. I’llplay around the fretboard until I find something that sounds good.

EQUIPMENT
I have a pretty cheap epiphone eb bass but it’s very personal for me. A lot of soul has been played into this guitar. I don’t have a bass amp but I’m looking to buy one in the near future anyway.
