I'm a very good guitar player, band oriented having orgainsed a group in the past, I think I've got a lot to offer: I can play whats needed, can jam it out or stick something nice down on someone else's idea. been playing about 18 years, I'm 34 and would like to get involved with a group doing Rock stuff just that can kick it live like Zeppelin.
I also think Del Amitri and Gov't Mule are bloody good bands, and I like Eagles Of Death Metal just because they rock and seem to have a laugh doing it.
I'v eplayed live before, having headlined the Railway, and played at the Joiners, but I like the idea of a slightly underground feel to a band.
My sound is raw, lots of colour and a little rough round the edges, but I still cvan be tight - I take a little while to relax and warm up because i play by feel, but when I do....well...you'd just have to hear it.
My real guitar influences are Eddie Hazel and a little of Mark Knopfler (the celtic connection). I have transport, a good setup and will travel for the right thing.
In no particular order Led Zeppelin, Del Amitri, Eagles OF Death Metal, QOTSA, Gov't Mule, Funkadelic (pre 76) Cactus, Canned Heat, Mark Knopfler,Grady, Runrig, King Crimson (72-74)
