Experienced musician who has gigged in many countries and across the UK. Finlay has played most genres of music, namely baroque/classical/rock/pop/jazz/improvisation/alternative etc for studio/film/radio and live performances. He is also an experienced trumpet teacher. Finlay studied trumpet at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester with the late John McMurray and John Miller respectively. Finlay plays on a Bb Bach Stradavarius.
