I've sung in a few bands but not professionally. I like solid rock, with a sense of humour. I am a bit of a showman who likes to connect with my audience, old and fat but love my music. Looking for rehearsals with occasional gigs. Not particularly interested in making money from the music. Like doing parodies of hit songs.
Totally sh*te as a guitarist but can learn bits if I have to.

Pink Floyd, Hendrix, Deep purple, Roger Waters, Black Sabbath, Oasis, Killers, Kaiser Chiefs, Kinks, Santana, Gary Moore, sixties, seventies rock. Unusual Sounds and styles. Most good guitar based rock from any era but mostly Britrock.

Amp & Mike & stand, Fender Stratocaster, fender amplifier, Yamaha acoustic with pickup, tambourine, cry baby, jews harp, ref's whistle. Big Sunderland Gob.

I am planning an event in York on Saturday 27th of August to raise
funds for Comic Relief. I need more kick ass pop & rock acts to donate their talent for a 20 minute slot on stage. The event will be based on Clifton Moor and will have an outdoor & an indoor element. Runs from 13:00 to 01:00, 12 hours. Kids leave at 20:00. Lots of live music, entertainers, silly games, face painters, prizes galore. Local radio outside broadcast, guest presenters. Tickets £5, bar, food, hog roast, fun, mayhem.
I need help please. Volunteers to help in organisation, marshalls and talent for the day.
