About
Not looking for a band, as have now joined the excellent 'Buzzard'. Thanks to Bandmix. www.buzzard-rock.com
Rock n roll/ R n b front man, Well known around Derby especially as a guest spot vocal/harmonica man. Usually appear at The Derby Beer Festival etc.(I've been called a cult,at least I think that's what they said).
I consider I can sing well. I've fronted several bands, most notably 'Dickie Heart & The Pacemakers'. Good personality and world class harmonica player (So I've been told), WAS seeking similar old gits for weekend gigs. Currently caring for an elderly relative, so twice a month gigging suits me, not too much time available for rehearsals, but gigging focuses the mind!
Adequate guitar and piano skills but prefer to purely sing as front man.
I have played nationally on the pub/club circuit and once at a festival in front of bloody thousands! Been at it for over 30 years, best hobby in the world, but I'm never expecting to ever make any money at it, so I'm realistic. Rockin' the local Legion does me nicely.

Influences
From delta blues through 60's & 70's R&B to classic rock & AOR, If you've heard of Mickey Jupp then we are on the same wavelength. I enjoy singing John Foggarty/John Hiatt/Bob Seger/Travis Tritt type country rock as well. One thing I have learned is people want to hear songs they know, you can't educate 'em! I prefer to do any pop covers with a rock edge.
Equipment List
Too much, house full, no PA rig or lights tho.
