BENSEM (average age of members- 25 years old) are from Pontypridd, they play original pop rock music. Songs are written by Craig Semmens. At school aged 11, Semmens was placed in the same class as Peter. Although friends for many years, it wasn’t until they were both nineteen that they began playing music together.

Semmens began jamming with Peter, whose musical direction for the band is ‘specific’. From their musical generation became a challenge of intent.

A gruelling task awaited them. New songs were written, drummers came and went, competitions were won (Budweiser Battle of the Bands, Cardiff under the name ‘Formed’), and great reviews (e.g. www.garbledonline.net/formedlive.html). But hardships nearly ripped the band apart. but now they are taking a 14-song set on the road, knowing that the music is ready.
