I am a mature Guitar player looking to form or join a small jazz band/ Dixie to Swing. I have drummer and possibly bass. We want to form a light hearted combo but playing well and with a professional and entertaining outlook. Good solid jazz swing basis but using many influences . Not exactly fusion though!!!

Do you know " Your feet's too Big"? but more serious songs as well. I would like several of us to sing either together or alone so there isnt a "Singing star" in the band as such. We are not looking for a vocalist, only musicians who sing. Any intstrument considered but pianists must have a light left hand!!! front lines, trumpet/cornet/flugal , flute,clarinett, fiddle, bone, maybe sax but you would need to be a very tuneful melodic player and no sopranos!!!
