Ok, so here goes... Played a bit of bass in my late teens for a few years, mainly with friends just for a bit of fun. After a few decades, decided that it's time to dust off the bass and start playing again.
I'm interested in meeting musicians or a band seeking a bass player to try something and see where it goes, but mainly looking for like-minded people who enjoy playing music together. Happy to play covers and / or original material.
I've not played for a long time, and even then not that much, so class myself very much as a 'beginner'. I have my own transport and can be fairly flexible around rehearsing in the evenings.
I like a lot of different musical styles and so am fairly open to what I play, though I'm not that keen on funk, blues or anything too heavy.
