ABOUT
I started studying drums at the age of 12, with lessons from Richard Beasley who drummed for Gary Numan. In the time of 7 years i have reached grade 8 distinction with rock school and was in the top 40 of young drummer of the year in 2009 and 10.
I have always tried to widen my musical knowledge and joined bands such as percussion ensembles, big bands, jazz trios and quartets, samba bands and my rock group called Coopers Rage. This band has given me the opportunities to play many big stages, as in 2009 we played Camp Bestival and Bestival (Bigtop second biggest stage) on the Isle of white. I have also played the O2 Indegio for a National live and unsigned competition and being 3rd in the rock category.
My strongest style of playing is jazz with knowledge of a wide selection of standards. I try and push myself by playing at jam nights to develop improvisation and listening to other musicians.
I?m currently studying at drumtech music schools and in the second year of my degree. This university has opened many doors especial living in London and I am dedicated to working hard on projects and most of all enjoying the experience.
