Experienced sax player and band leader and arranger, with trombone as additional instrument, runs two bands:
1. Silverrock, a 7-8 piecebsnd that plays authentic rocksteady, ska and dub.
2. Brassbound, always looking for brass, wind and percussion players for our funky collective to play clubs and festivals. Want to encompass different styles of dance music (latin jazz, reggae, ska, soul, blues, etc) so you've got to be able to move with the groove! Dot readers and ear players all welcome, with good improvisers, but easier to learn the songs if you read music.
