I've been playing the guitar and bass for about 8-ish years.
I don't really stick to a particular style of playing - one minute I'll play a Kaki King-esque percussive/tap guitar riff, the next I'll play something more Radiohead-y or a Foo Fighters-style chord progression or I'll just try and create something abstract and atmospheric.
I play bass pretty much the same way I play the guitar - I have a tendency to play a lot of slap bass riffs.
I also have some limited synthesiser/piano experience.
I want to be in what is effectively a 'genre-less' band - think PJ Harvey - I don't like only one genre of music, so why would I only want to make one type of music?
Seeing as how trying to assemble a band of 'like-minded people' is seemingly the very definition of a futile act, I'll occassionally upload some (very poor quality) recordings of guitar and bass riffs every now and then.
The main thing I'm looking for at the moment is an open minded drummer with an eclectic taste in music who can take direction and actually understands the concept of dynamics. I couldn't care less about gigging experience or whether they've played in a band before - passion is infinitely more important than experience.
