Recently switched to bass guitar from acoustic and a bit of R&B style rhythm guitar. My strong point musically is timing, rhythm and groove feel so bass was a good move for me. I have been at it since summer 21 but with the guitar experience as a platform I am really taking off. Have played open mics as a trio. Mostly blues and classic covers. Most interested in finding other musicians who are centered on the joyfulness of playing music together. Allow what follows from that to work itself out. Happy to meet with people to see what's what. Finding a drummer to form a solid rhythm section would be a great start.

I listen widely and enjoy most genres. Metal perhaps being one that doesn't appear much on the playlist. Marvin Gaye, Bon Iver, Beatles, Ryan Adams, Ani DiFranco, Miles Davis, Ray Charles, Miles Davis, Diana Gameros, Aphex Twin, Van Morrison Telafon Tel Aviv, Dawes, Nina Simone, Hiss Golden Msngr, Sade, Tom Misch, Radiohead, Alabama Shakes, Jon Hopkins - There's tons left to mention but only so much you want to read, I like to also stay with what's happening now and not be too attached to what I already know
