My name is Alexander and I play both drums and percussion, I am very passionate about music in general and have been lucky enough to have played many genres over the many years that I have been playing, more than I care to mention but hopefully will reflect on my playing, will let others to decide.
I do read music and have taught but I am not professional, I play for fun and am really a pub drummer and have a career and play for fun, well perhaps a little beer money. Though not professional I do have professional equipment and have a professional attitude though I am far from boring, have a quirky sense of humour and certainly do not take myself too seriously.
I do have a sensitive ear and listen to and play with the other musicians, I am part of the rhythm section after all, I am here to support others and unless soloing I am not insecure and need to take the limelight. I generally am not so dull as to just sit on the beat and like to be creative, I tend to play the drums and percussion as an instrument and not just rhythmically. Most drummers seem to thing to play well you need to play fast and loud or that just playing triplets makes you a rock god with amazing solos, though I can play fast and loud I do try and use some level technique, but I do play for fun and am certainly no virtuoso.

EQUIPMENT
my main kit is a Mapex kit with custom A series Zildjian. I have a compact/jazz kit which is a Tama kit and have an old premier projector kit. On the percussion side I have many and diverse goodies mounted off as rack
