We are: an established working band playing bars, functions and weddings, we
have loads of good gigs lined up for 2006 in the East Midlands and beyond, with
enquiries coming in all the time. We always go down a storm. We all work in day
jobs in and around Leicestershire, and are all in our twenties and early thirties.
We play: everything we like, from the Who, Beatles and Stones, through Stevie
Wonder and the Jam, to the Killers, Air, Franz Ferdinand and the Foo Fighters: and
we’re always looking to expand our range. We do not play any cheesy function
band stuff: if we don’t like it we don’t play it. We all get a say in how the band
works and what and where we play.
Keyboard/Singer: We need an experienced keyboard / synth player (our existing
drummer is leaving to concentrate on originals), who is also able to take a lead in
harmony. There may be an opportunity to sing lead vocals for some of the set.
Drummer: We need a s**t-hot drummer, to replace our existing drummer (who is
moving away from Leicester). You would need to have a great pair of ears and
the ability to play a wide range of genres.
For both positions you must be experienced, have your own kit and transport and
be a good laugh! We rehearse once a week and play around 35-40 gigs a year.
