UKUNSIGNED WINNERS 2013 - forsaken by others so together we stand alone... 4saken are an Urban Music Collective from Liverpool and are not entirely genre specific. They create music that has elements of pop and rnb with rap/hip hop lyricism and soulful vocals.

4Saken are focusing on becoming a more established act by performing at many events throughout the country to build their fan base outside of Liverpool.

4saken members are Kane AKA Trooper who is a rapper and producer for the group and is also responsible for writing some of the groups well known choruses and has been performing since the age of 11 and has honed his craft well. Kane is the founding member of the group and is known for bringing immense energy to 4saken performances. The newest performer in the group is Mikey AKA Mighty Mic, who is also a rapper, but isn't shy of singing on some tracks too and even though he has only been performing for under a year, Mighty Mic has the stage presence of a seasoned pro. Rachael Parry is the soulful female vocalist who brings a velvety tone to every track she features on and is an unrivalled powerhouse on stage and in the studio. 4Saken also work with a live guitarist who's name is Rida Mukhtar, and since performing exclusively beside 4saken, has made the group even more unique both on and off the stage.

4saken have 2 official music video's and a 'hood video' that were shot back to back and all have been released during the Summer of 2013. The group have just finished recording their debut studio album at legendary Foel Studio's in Wales and spent a week staying at the residential studio away from any distractions to completely immerse themselves in writing and recording the album, which they all agree is their best work yet.

They have displayed their versatility throughout the album and this is shown in the diversity of the tracks finished at the studio, from the reggae/jazz influenced sound of 'CLUB LOVING' to the slow and soulful Rnb song that is 'YOUR BODY (An Ode To RnB)' via the heavy hitting political song about police and their stop and search powers 'APPALLING' or their heavy rock guitar led track 'HERE's WHERE THE PARTY'S AT' there is something for everyone on the album. The album will be released 8th February 2014 on the same date 4saken will have an album launch party in the 02 academy Liverpool supported by number 1 selling artist DAPPY and a lot of other quality local talent.

4Saken have supported huge superstars over the past 8 years including Sisqo & Dru Hill, Jeremih, Chris Maloney, and have performed at many well known venues and have some huge celebrity fans including Ex Liverpool FC and England players Mark Wright and John Barnes, but they want to focus on the future of the group now and believe that their time has come.
